About

I am a journalist specialising in food supply chains, farming systems, consumer and market trends, sustainability, environment and travel.

During 2018, I travelled through South and Central America and followed stories such as the boom in avocados in Colombia, banana production in Ecuador and how small-scale coffee producers in Costa Rica are reducing their environmental impact. As part of this trip, I co-founded a podcast, Who Gives a Fork, to go behind the scenes and explore some of the stories in popular food supply chains.

I previously worked asĀ deputy editor of Fresh Produce Journal, the leading B2B magazine for the fruit and veg industry, where I wrote, edited and planned news, features and special reports, and commissioned opinion pieces. I am a postgraduate of PMA Media at the Press Association, where training included news, feature, subbing, design, SEO, digital marketing, video and podcast, media law.

Freelance work published in the Guardian, Huffington Post, The Ecologist, Veggie Magazine, Derbyshire Life, Pebble Magazine, Better Wholesaling.
